Cork Oak Trees

For the love of landscape... on the banks of a small pond at the edge of the marshes and rice fields of the Tagus Estuary, across the river from Lisbon. Every Cork Oak in Portugal is protected by law. They are harvested every 9 years, after their 18th year.
